Born on June 15, 1969, he gained recognition for his lyrics on N.W.A's 1988 album, Straight Outta Compton, which helped popularize gangsta rap. He also achieved critical and commercial success with his solo political rap albums, including Amerikkka's Most Wanted, Death Certificate, and The Predator.
